MM/K9AJ/P Rockall EU-189 website
From the
MM/K9AJ/P Rockall website: "
As is clearly evident, there is not much room atop Rockall to erect large beam antennas. Through much planning and logistics, Mike will use a Yaesu FT100D powered by two 115A Deep Cycle batteries. Aerial will be a simple vertical with radials thrown over the rock. He will use 20 and 40m only. Mike is mostly a CW operator so expect the majority of QSO’s to be that mode. An FT897 will be used as a backup rig." and also: "
On May 12, at 08:30z the Elinca leaves for Rockall. Should weather/sea state conditions be kind, they will head straight to Rockall, a journey which takes approx 30 hours."
The website has been "closed": access is allowed only with password. Sri guys !
