Revillagigedo 2011

4A4A Will take place between 3 to 20 of March, a good group will put the signal on the air on SSB , CW and Digital modes from Benito Juarez Island (Isla Socorro). IOTA: NA-030 //  QTH locator : DK48MR We will try setup 3 stations running simultaneously as conditions permits.

• Everything is ready and we are looking forward to the arrival of the 24th of February, when some members of the team 4A4A will meet in Madrid to get the material ready.
• On 25th of February we will fly to Mexico D.F, where the whole team will meet and where we will finish with the preparation of the material for the expedition.
• The 28th of February it is scheduled that the team has a long journey from Mexico D.F to Manzanillo's port, in the Pacific Ocean coast, the place where we will take a boat the 1st of March to Revillagigedo; a journey which will last 2 days approximately.
• Our plans consist of being flying the 3rd of March.
• Finally, we will settle 2 camps, one of them for CW and the other for SSB and RTTY, with antennas, equipments and independent ampifliers.
• The purpose is to have at least 3 stations working 24 hours a day.
• Due to the proximity with EEUU, we will put a special emphasis in order to work EU in all the bands and possible modes.
